After breakfast at your hotel, travel back in time through ancient Egypt on a private tour of the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum. During your private tour, you can determine the amount of time you would like to spend at each site. Your personal guide will introduce you to these remarkable sites before allowing you free time to explore at your leisure.
During your free time, you will have several optional activities you can partake in (at an additional cost). You may enter the burial chambers of the pyramids; however, your guide will not be able to accompany you. Alternatively, you may opt to roam the Giza Plateau on camelback while savoring the stunning view of the pyramids and Sphinx in the distance.
(Optional Tour) Following your tour of the Giza Plateau, you may visit the Solar Boat Museum. This museum is home to the remarkably well-preserved funerary boat of Khufu.
Continue your tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum. The museum contains countless artifacts that date across Egypt’s history. These priceless artifacts include the six-gold gilded coffins of Tutankhamun and his stunning funerary mask. Your tour guide will introduce you to the museum's highlights before allowing you to explore at your leisure. You may visit the “Royal Mummies Room” to learn about mummification in ancient Egypt (optional, at an additional cost).
Following your trip to the museum, you will have the opportunity to visit the Papyrus Institute. Here, you will learn about how papyrus paper is made.
At the end of your tour, return to your luxury hotel in Cairo and spend the evening in relaxation.

Enjoy breakfast before checking out of your hotel and transferring to Cairo airport. After a short flight to Luxor, you will check in to your Nile Cruise.
After check-in, you will be accompanied by your Egyptologist guide as you visit the Karnak Temples, one of the largest places of worship built. This complex of temples was built over 2,000 years ago and has been expanded across several generations of pharaohs. Within the complex, you will explore the great “Hypostyle Hall,” which features an incredible forest of giant pillars.
After that, you will explore the Luxor Temple built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for rituals and festivals. The temple features massive statues of Ramses II, which dominate the entrance. The inner walls and columns of the temple are intricately decorated with hieroglyphics.

Enjoy breakfast onboard your Nile Cruise as you proceed to the West Bank of the Nile to visit the Colossi of Memnon. Afterward, you will visit the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs of the pharaohs were discovered. Here, you will have the option to explore the tomb of Tutankhamun (at an additional cost).
After exploring the Valley of the Kings, continue your journey to the impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Your guide will accompany you throughout the temple and provide you with a rich background of the temple's history.

After breakfast on board the Nile cruise, you will visit the well-preserved Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to the Gods Horus at Edfu. You will then sail to Kom Ombo to see the Temple of Sobek, dedicated to the crocodile-headed God of fertility and creator of the world. Following your sightseeing tour, you will have lunch onboard your cruise as you continue sailing towards Aswan.

After breakfast, onboard your Nile Cruise, enjoy a day of sightseeing in Aswan. You will meet your Egyptologist guide, who will assist you throughout your exciting tour of the Aswan High Dam. This modern engineering marvel was built in the 1960s and provided the region with clean energy while also regulating the flooding of the Nile.
Thereafter, you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk, which remains at the location it was originally carved. Journey to Agilkia Island to explore the beautiful Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor.
After your sightseeing tour, you will sail around Elephantine Island on a local felucca boat. The locale of the region features many beautiful sights for you to behold aboard this traditional Egyptian sailboat. Conclude your tour with a visit to a Nubian village and enjoy a traditional lunch with a family.

After breakfast on board your Nile Cruise, you will disembark and journey towards the temples in Abu Simbel. The twin temples were originally carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Ramses II, and are dedicated to him and his wife, Queen Nefertari. Your Egyptologist guide will provide you with the history and significance of the site before allowing you free time to explore inside the temple at your leisure.
Following your visit to Abu Simbel, you will return to Aswan Airport to return to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will transfer to your hotel for check-in.
In the afternoon, you will explore the Christian heritage in Coptic Cairo, beginning with the Hanging Church. This church is located on top of the southern gate of the Fortress of Babylon. This church is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and contains a lot of historic significance.
Following your visit to the Hanging Church, you will conclude your tour with a visit to the lively Khan el Khalili Bazaar. The bazaar features many local vendors with a variety of different wares on sale. You will have free time to explore the market and purchase any wares that interest you. Alternatively, you may enjoy a cup of tea at the famous coffee shop “El Fishawy.”

After breakfast at your hotel, you will check out and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired holiday. Space on a given tour will be secured upon receipt of a deposit of 25% of the full price. This payment will be 50% during the Christmas and New Year holidays and on packages including airfare. This deposit counts as part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or sent via Western Union or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Payment should be received within 7 days of booking.
