TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Thank you for booking and/or travelling on a tour with Your Egypt Tours S.A.E. (“YET”). These Terms and Conditions apply to any travel products and/or services you have booked with or purchased from YET, and govern the contractual relationship between you and YET concerning any such travel products and/or services (hereinafter, the “Products”). Please read these Terms carefully as by booking any Product with YET, or by travelling on a YET tour or Product you acknowledge that you: i) have read and understand these Terms, and ii) indicate your express acceptance of and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you have confirmed a booking on any Products with more than one client named and booked on such booking, you shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) on behalf of all clients named in the booking (including minors and those under a disability) and travelling on or otherwise participating in any Products (hereinafter “you”, the “Client(s)”), and by such travel or participation all passengers indicate their assent to these Terms. The client who confirmed the booking is deemed to be the designated contact person for all other clients named in such booking. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Client and YET concerning the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior agreements, representations and understandings of the parties, written or oral.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A booking is confirmed and these Terms shall apply when YET, or an authorized agent acting on YET’s behalf, has received the applicable deposit from the Client and the Client has received written confirmation from YET of such booking. The Client confirming the booking must be no less than 18 years of age and agrees to provide full, complete, and accurate information as requested by YET to confirm such booking.

Any Client confirming a booking on any Products with more than one Client named and booked on such booking represents and warrants to YET that:

i) they have all requisite consents and authority to make such booking on behalf of all other Clients named on the booking and have communicated all necessary information to the other Clients for them to give free and fully informed authorization to do so.

ii) the information that they are providing regarding all clients is complete and accurate, and they have obtained all necessary consents and permissions to share such information with YET to complete the booking.

iii) they will inform all other named Clients on the relevant booking of the applicability of these Terms to the booking and the Clients’ relationship with YET.

At any time before a booking is confirmed, YET reserves the right to increase or decrease brochure prices of any Products. YET or their agents reserve the right to decline any booking, at their sole discretion.

All Clients should consult their physician regarding their fitness for travel. YET encourages all Clients to seek their physician’s advice regarding necessary or advisable vaccinations, medical precautions, or other medical concerns regarding the entirety of the Client’s travel with YET.

YET does not provide medical advice. Clients must notify YET in writing before the due date of their final payment for their booking of any medical conditions, pregnancy, disability, or any other mental and or physical condition which may impact the Client’s fitness to travel, and/or any continuing medical condition. Full disclosure of such information is a condition of traveling on any Product or in any capacity with YET.

Certain Products may not be suitable for all people due to restrictions posed by limitations in mobility, physical or cognitive disability, pregnancy, or various other physical or mental conditions. It is the Client’s responsibility to assess the risks and requirements of each Product in light of such Client’s limitations, physical and mental fitness and condition, and any medical requirements or issues of such Client.

YET may refuse to carry pregnant women over 24 weeks or Clients with certain conditions, if suitable accommodation or alternate Products or services cannot be arranged. Certain Tours, as offered by YET, by its nature involve visiting remote or less developed regions, where medical facilities may not meet the standards of those found in a Client’s home country.

YET will endeavor to accommodate the special requests of Clients, such as dietary and accommodation requests, but such requests do not form part of these Terms or the contract between Client and YET, and YET is not liable for any failure to accommodate or fulfill such requests.

Travel with YET  may involve visiting remote or developing regions, where medical care may not be easily accessible and medical facilities may not meet the standards of those found in your home country. The condition of medical facilities in the countries you may visit on your Tour varies and YET makes no representations and gives no warranties about the availability or standard of medical facilities in those regions.

Any special requirements must be disclosed to the Tour Operator at the time of booking. The Tour Operator will use reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements or requests but this is not always possible given the nature of the destinations visited and the availability of options outside a planned itinerary. Certain activities may be inaccessible to you if your mobility is limited in any way.

All food allergies and dietary restrictions must be disclosed to the Tour Operator at the time of booking but the Tour Operator cannot guarantee that dietary needs or restrictions can be accommodated. Any special requests or requirements do not form part of these Terms or the contract between you and the Tour Operator and the Tour Operator is not liable for any failure to accommodate or fulfill such requests.

Clients aged 18 at the date of travel are deemed to be adults. Anyone under the age of 18 on the date of travel is considered to be a minor. Minors must always be accompanied by an adult. One adult may accompany up to two minors. Unless otherwise indicated in the Tour description or by the Tour Operator, the minimum age for minors traveling on any Tour vary based on the tour style.

All bookings with a minor are subject to review and approval by YET. If the consent of a parent, guardian or any other person is required by applicable law for any minor to travel, the accompanying adult is responsible for securing all consents, and documentation and ensuring that they and the minor(s) meet all legal requirements to travel, to enter into and depart from applicable countries and regions. The Tour Operator will not be responsible for any fees, damages, or losses incurred as a result of any failure to secure necessary consents, permits, and approvals.

YET reserves the right to restrict the number of Minor Clients on any given Product where it deems necessary. If the adult accompanying a Minor Client is not the Minor Client’s custodial parent or legal guardian, then a "Parental Consent Guardianship Form" must be signed (along with other documents provided as requested by YET) by the Minor Client’s parent or legal guardian and must be received by YET along with or before the final payment made in respect of the Minor Client’s booking.

Each adult on a booking with a minor or minor(s) is jointly and severally responsible for the behavior, wellbeing, supervision, and monitoring of such minor(s), and jointly and severally accepts these Terms for and on behalf of any minor(s) on their booking, including all assumptions of risk and limitations of liability. The Tour Operator does not provide care services for minors and expressly disclaims any responsibility for chaperoning or controlling any minor(s).

YET Products are available for purchase using several global currencies including, but not limited to (Euro (EUR€) or United States Dollar (USD$)). The currency applied to the Client’s booking will be determined by YET, in consideration of the booking location of the Client. The Client will be advised of the applicable currency before making any payment to YET.

YET may provide a feature through which Client (s) may view Payment for various Listings in foreign currencies. You understand and agree that these views of Payment are for informational purposes only and are not the official Payment for the Listings. If you (as a Traveler) request a booking, you will be charged with the amount of Payment in United States dollars (USD$), if your booking is confirmed. The currency in which you will be charged may be determined by YET based on the payment method you select. If the currency in which you will be charged is different from the currency chosen by YET to receive payment, YET will be responsible for the required currency conversion processing, including the costs thereof, which will be calculated based on the most current applicable foreign exchange rate that YET has uploaded to the Site as of the date and time that your booking is confirmed (the "Applicable Exchange Rate"). You acknowledge that the Applicable Exchange Rate used for currency conversion processing may not be identical to the applicable market rate in effect at the specific time such processing occurs because: (i) although YET would update the Applicable Exchange Rate regularly, it would not update such rate on a real-time basis; and (ii) the Applicable Exchange Rate may include an incremental cost or margin that is not included in the applicable market rate. For the avoidance of doubt, YET would retain any profits (and will bear any losses) that result from such currency conversion processing due to changes in the applicable foreign exchange rate.

The published price of the Tour and any products or services offered by YET is subject to change at any time, before or after booking confirmation, up to 30 days before departure. Tours are priced and advertised exclusive of applicable sales taxes. After a confirmation invoice has been issued by YET, YET reserves the right to impose surcharges on any products or services booked for reasons arising from increases in transportation costs, fuel costs, dues, taxes, or fees chargeable for services such as landing taxes or embarkation or disembarkation fees at ports and airport charges, local operator costs, currency and exchange fluctuations, increases in taxes, or government action which impacts the price of the applicable products or services provided.

Where the increase the original price of the applicable products or services (excluding add-ons, insurance, and taxes), you may choose to either:

  • (a) cancel the applicable booking without incurring any penalty; or
  • (b) accept the change of price.

You must notify YET of your choice within 14 days of receipt of notice of the increase or you will be deemed to have accepted the price change and will be liable for payment of the increase.

From time to time YET may offer reduced pricing on certain products or services. The reduced pricing applies only to new bookings. Bookings, where payment of at least a deposit has been received by YET, are not entitled to the reduced pricing.

The prices of Products advertised in YET brochures and on the YET website are based on costs in effect at the time of printing the brochure or posting to the website. YET reserves the right to alter the prices of any Product at any time before the receipt of payment in full for such Product. All dates, itineraries, and prices are indicative only and the price quoted at the time of Booking shall be the applicable price, subject to the surcharges that may be levied by these Terms.

Changes, revisions, or other amendments may be made to the particulars contained in any YET brochure or on the YET website before a contract is concluded, and such changes, revisions, or amendments shall be incorporated herein as of the date of such amendment.

You acknowledge that you are responsible for keeping up to date on the specific details of your Tour and any other products or services, including, but not limited to checking YET’s website at least 72 hours before departure as minor changes may have been made after the time of booking.

At the time of booking, you are required to pay at least a deposit of 50% of the tour price, as applicable, per person per Tour is due to YET.

For certain products or services, the Tour Operator may require you to provide a higher deposit or make full payment at the time of booking. The Tour Operator will advise you of any such requirements before confirmation of the applicable booking.

YET will collect the deposit and/or the total cost at the time of booking confirmation. The Balance of Payment (defined as the Total Cost minus the deposit) will be payable directly based on the Payment Terms as stated by YET on the booking page.

The deposit displayed on the booking reference page is generally based on YET Terms as outlined on the booking reference page. Where applicable, Taxes may be charged in addition to the Tour Cost.

If you cancel your booking, and that cancellation is not a result of nonpayment or any other breach of these Terms, the deposit amount will be held as a “Lifetime Deposit” with YET, subject to these Terms. Lifetime Deposits have no expiry and may be applied towards payment of a deposit on any other Tour offered by YET. The Lifetime Deposit is transferable and may be transferred by you to another individual of your choosing by providing notice to the Tour Operator in writing.

For the avoidance of doubt, only the deposit amount will form part of the Lifetime Deposit. The Lifetime Deposit has no cash value. Only one Lifetime Deposit may be applied per person per product booked. A Lifetime Deposit must be applied to a new Tour booking that is of equal or greater value to the canceled Tour for which the Lifetime Deposit was originally received. A Lifetime Deposit may not be applied to the same or similar dates of travel.

In order for us to confirm your booking and/or your travel arrangements, you must provide the information requested by YET along with Deposit and/or final payment.

Necessary details vary by trip; they include but are not limited to full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality, passport number, passport issue and expiry date and any pre-existing medical conditions you have which may affect your ability to complete your travel arrangements.

If you fail to provide all required information prior to the date on which deposit is due, an administrative fee will be charged for any costs incurred by YET as a result of your failure to provide the required information. If you fail to supply information required by YET for air tickets, permits, or other inclusions, you will also be liable for any costs, fees or losses including failure to obtain or provide that inclusion. In the event that you fail to supply information required by YET, YET also reserves the right to treat your booking (or the relevant component of your booking) as cancelled and levy any cancellation fees deemed reasonable by YET, in its sole discretion. The information required by YET will vary by Tour and will be communicated to you or to YET’s authorized agent during the booking process. YET will not be held responsible for any fees you incur as a result of errors, omissions, inaccuracies, late, misplaced or otherwise incomplete information you have provided.

Tour prices do not include international or other airfare unless expressly mentioned in the Tour’s descriptions. The Tour Operator will quote the best price available for the travel dates requested at the time the quote is prepared. Quotes provide an estimate only and are not a firm price commitment by the Tour Operator or the applicable air carrier(s).

YET acts only as a sales agent for the applicable air carrier and the air carrier terms and conditions apply to the purchase and use of the air travel ticket. Please consult the air carrier’s applicable terms and conditions and conditions of carriage for complete information including applicable cancellation terms. YET is not responsible for changes in air itineraries or flight times and does not provide advice or alerts regarding air travel tickets, flight status, or delays.

After closing of business that day (4 pm GMT, Saturday to Thursday) if the option is not confirmed, the option is deemed to have expired and is no longer valid.

(c) Price changes: Until tickets are issued, YET reserves the right to change prices in the event of any price increase for any reason including, but not limited to, airfares wrongfully quoted due to system error, the price of fuel, and/or currency fluctuations or government taxes or levies, or any other cause whatsoever.

(d) Deposit: Deposit must be received by YET before the option period described in (b), above, expires to guarantee the reservation at quoted price and secure applicable tickets. By making the deposit payment, the Client agrees that they accept the air travel arrangements as requested at the total price quoted. YET is not responsible for any change to airline schedules or flight numbers after tickets have been issued. Clients may contact appropriate airline or airport information sources to obtain relevant up-to-date flight information.

(g) Airline tickets: Once issued, all airline tickets are non-transferable and valid only for the dates and routings shown. If an airline ticket is lost, the client is responsible for the full cost of a new ticket and any changes that may occur in replacement.

(h) Airline, airport, or weather delays: YET is not responsible for any additional expenses or losses that may arise from airline, airport, or weather delays. YET will not reimburse for any additional expenses incurred by the Client as a result of such events or delays. YET will not refund any unused portion of air tickets purchased in the event of such delays or due to any reasons beyond its direct control.

The confirmation sent by YET will contain details of the final payment required for any booking. A contract will exist between us from the date we issue the confirmation invoice.  Please refer to your booking confirmation invoice for details regarding final payments. Once a Product tour has departed, changes to such Product’s itinerary may be necessary or advisable as a result of unforeseen circumstances or other reasons related to effective Product operation, health, safety, Client enjoyment, or Client comfort. YET will make suitable alternative arrangements, at no extra cost to the Client, for the continuation of the Product tour and will, where appropriate, compensate the Client for the difference between the services to be supplied under the contract and those supplied. If YET is unable to make arrangements as described above for reasons other than the refusal of the Client to accept such arrangements, YET will, where appropriate, provide the Client with equivalent transport back to the Client’s place of departure or to another place to which the Client and YET have mutually agreed. Any such changes are at the discretion of the YET Tour Leader and any indirect costs incurred as a result will be the responsibility of the Client. The Client acknowledges that they must have reasonable financial resources to cover incidental expenses on every Product on which they travel, whether or not they arise from a change in the itinerary or from the travel itself, and that YET shall not be liable for any Client’s failure to prepare adequately for their travel and unforeseen circumstances which may arise during such travel.

YET will not be liable for any indirect and or consequential losses associated with any changes to a Product’s itinerary.

THE CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE NATURE OF PRODUCT TOURS MAY INVOLVE A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF RISK TO CLIENTS’ HEALTH AND/OR SAFETY. TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW THE CLIENT HEREBY ASSUMES ALL SUCH RISK AND DOES HEREBY RELEASE YET FROM ALL CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING FROM ANY DAMAGES OR INJURIES OR DEATH RESULTING FROM THESE RISKS INHERENT IN TRAVEL, VISITING FOREIGN DESTINATIONS, AND PARTICIPATING IN ADVENTUROUS ACTIVITIES SUCH AS THOSE INCLUDED IN PRODUCT ITINERARIES.

You acknowledge that the degree and nature of personal risk involved depends on the products or services booked and the location(s) in which a product or service operates and that there may be a significant degree of personal risk involved in participating, particularly participating in physical activities, travel to remote locations, carriage by watercraft, participation in “extreme sports” or other high-risk activities, or travel to areas with developing infrastructure. Standards of hygiene, accommodation, and transport in certain areas where Tours take place are often lower than the standards you may reasonably expect in your home country or region. You agree that YET is not responsible for providing information or guidance concerning local customs, weather conditions, specific safety concerns, physical challenges, or laws in effect in any locations where a Tour, product, or service is operated. You acknowledge you have considered the potential risks, dangers, and challenges and your capabilities and needs, and you expressly assume the risks associated with travel under such conditions.

You must at all times strictly comply with all applicable laws and regulations of all countries and regions. Should you fail to comply with the above or commit any illegal act when on Tour or, if in the opinion of YET (acting reasonably), your behavior is causing or is likely to cause danger, distress, or material annoyance to others, YET may terminate your travel arrangements on any product or service immediately at your expense and without any liability on YET’s part. You will not be entitled to any refund for unused or missed services or costs incurred as a result of the termination of your travel arrangements, including, without limitation, return travel, accommodations, meals, and incidentals.

You are responsible for any costs (including repair, replacement, and cleaning fees) incurred by YET or YET’s suppliers for property damage, destruction, or theft caused by you while on a Tour. You agree to take all prudent measures about your safety while on Tour including, but not limited to, the proper use of safety devices (including seatbelts, harnesses, flotation devices, and helmets) and obeying all posted signs and oral or written warnings regarding health and safety. Neither YET nor its Third Party Suppliers (as defined herein) are liable for loss or damages caused by your failure to comply with safety instructions or warnings.

You agree to bring any complaints to YET as soon as possible to provide YET with the opportunity to properly address such complaints. You agree to inform your tour leader, another representative of YET, or YET’s customer service department directly. YET assumes no liability for complaints that are not properly brought to the attention of YET and cannot resolve or attempt to resolve complaints until proper notice is provided. Any complaint made after the completion of a Tour must be received in writing by YET within 30 days of the last day of travel of the booking in question.

At all times the decision of YET’s Tour Leader or other designated representative will be final on all matters regarding the safety and well-being of Clients and operational requirements of the Product tour. By traveling with YET, the Client agrees to abide by the authority of the Tour Leader or designated representative. The Client must at all times strictly comply with all applicable laws and regulations of  Egypt and regions visited on the applicable Product tour. If the Client is affected by any condition, medical or otherwise, that might affect the Client’s ability to travel or participate in travel activities, Client’s enjoyment of the Product tour being booked, the ability to travel, or enjoyment of any other Client on the Product tour, or the treatment to be administered to the Client in any emergency, the Client must advise YET at the time of booking with any other documents reasonably requested by YET to ensure the health and safety of all Clients who travel with YET.

Should the Client fail to comply with the above or commit any illegal act when on the tour or, if in the opinion of the Tour Leader (in his/her and/or YET’s sole discretion), the Client’s behavior is causing or is likely to cause danger, distress or material annoyance to others, YET may terminate that Client’s travel arrangements on any Product immediately without any liability on YET’ part and the Client will not be entitled to any refund for unused or missed services or costs incurred resulting from the termination of the travel arrangements, including, without limitation, return travel, accommodations, meals, and/or incidentals.

Clients agree that they are responsible for any costs incurred by YET, YET suppliers, or YET partners, as a result of damage, destruction, theft, or excess cleaning fees related to the Client’s accommodation, transport, or other use of facilities while on Tour. Clients agree to immediately report any pre-existing damage of this kind to staff of the accommodation, transportation service, or facility (as appropriate) and/or a YET representative as soon as possible upon discovery by the Client.

The client agrees to take all prudent measures about their safety while on any YET Tour, including, but not limited to, the proper use of safety devices such as seatbelts, harnesses, and helmets, and obeying all posted signs and warnings about Client health and safety. YET shall not be liable for any failure on the Client’s part to comply with this paragraph.

Travel has helped us to understand the meaning of life and it has helped us become better people. Each time we travel, we see the world with new eyes.

Absolutely mind blowing. A definite must see. We flew from Aswan after I contact them, as I did not want to sit in car for hours with my 10-year-old daughter. Just so much history and ancient love. You cannot miss this one thing if you are in Cairo. The rocks are just HUGE, so special.

Don't drink the tap water - it is highly chlorinated. However, with enough time in Egypt, you could potentially grow accustomed to the water. This doesn't mean that the tap water is polluted, it simply means that you are not used to it, and you might get stomach problems. This happened to most people when they visit a country for the first time. They were simply not used to water there. It's a similar situation here. It is advisable to drink Bottled water during your entire holiday. That is why it is strongly advisable that you don't drink the tap water, and use it only for washing and brushing your teeth.

Enjoy Egypt Tours From September until March. It is the perfect time when the weather is good and mild. From September until mid-November, when it is very nice and the temperatures are pleasant for all activities - around 25 C to 15 C. mid-Nov until the end of February is wintertime when temperatures during the day are around 12 or 15 C, and at night can drop to about 7 or 8 C. Spending summertime in a desert climate does not appeal to most travelers. Average daytime temperatures hover in the high 80s and low to mid-90s, although they can jump up into three digits in the South as in Luxor and Aswan. Summer is really hot here, prices go down and it is a good chance for travelers with a tight budget.

It is usually hot and sunny. winter falls between November and January, and the peak of the summer months is between June and August. Winters are generally mild, although temperatures can fall below 50 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsius) at night. In the Western Desert. Cairo and areas of the Nile Delta may experience a few rainy days during winter. Summers can be unbearably hot, especially in the desert and other areas of the country's interior. Safety and security are our first and foremost concerns! Egypt is a very safe country with a low crime rate. Now with the coronavirus outbreak, accommodations and sightseeing nationwide have finalized sterilization and disinfection in light of the Egyptian government's efforts to implement precautionary measures against the COVID-19. In addition, our company has followed the same procedures to make all our staff, guides, and drivers are well-trained with the current events to prevent and stop the spread of this outbreak. There are many things to do in Egypt during your visit depending on your interests and character. Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, and Aswan Nile cruise must be your first priority if you are a history and culture lover. You must visit the pyramids of Giza, enjoy a Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan and enjoy visiting the most important tourist attractions in Luxor and Aswan. You can visit the city of Hurghada, Marsa Alam, or Sharm el-Sheikh Red Sea for relaxation and enjoy many activities there such as diving, snorkeling, sunbathing, or swimming. You may like to go on a safari trip in the western desert if you are an adventurer. Many other activities are available in every single Egyptian city

The high season for tourism is all year with winter and spring being peak season for cultural travels with lots of sightseeing. Weather in Egypt is perfect for many kinds of tourism, and if coming in June, July, and August, head for the seaside resorts. Those months are very warm with temperatures that can reach around 45C. and the humidity is about 70 to 80%, but it is bearable with the sea and large swimming pools nearby. So the period of the high summer season is also a bit busy as hotels fill up with tourists from all over the world looking for a bargain, lots of sunshine, diving, snorkeling, etc. It is also a primary vacation time in Europe. If you come in the deep summer season you can still enjoy it because you can always sightsee early in the morning and go again at night when the sunsets. You will definitely need good sunscreen and a lot of liquids to drink with a nice hat on your head. Summer is a good time for people looking for good rates in accommodation and other services.

Egypt is a Muslim country and the dress code is towards the conservative side, especially for women. That being said, we are used to seeing travelers from all over the world. My suggestion would be to wear light clothes and not to wear short shorts, short skirts and alike to avoid the occasional unwanted stare. But it's really up to you. When you visit religious places (synagogues, churches, and mosques) you do need to cover your shoulders and wear over the knee dresses, if you are planning to wear one of course. If you plan to attend the Nile dinner cruise, there is no need for formal wear unless you want to make that night a special night! Also, you will be sharing this experience with other travelers so you can dress however you feel most comfortable.

You can get your visa when you arrive at Cairo Airport. It is an easy process for USA, UK, Canadian, Australian and European citizens. The visa is simply a stamp (like a mail or postage stamp) that you buy from the visa office, at the port of entry just before the immigration booth. The visa will cost you $25 US Dollars and after buying it; you just stick it on any empty page on your passport. Once you have bought your visa you then stand in line to get your passport stamped by the immigration officer. You can also apply for E-Visa via the official electronic visa portal: www.visa2egypt.gov.eg

Your Egypt Tours travel agency recommends two weeks so that you can enjoy the temples and tombs of Luxor and Aswan, explore the sights of Cairo, and relax in the Red Sea islands and nature reserves.

There are many Nile cruises. Not to name one but your choice depends on many things to put in mind such as the number of nights you want to spend on the cruiser, your budget, and the standard of the Nile cruise. We recommend you choose a 5-star luxury Nile cruise, and if you are looking for a private Nile River cruise you can choose Dahabiya cruises, it is only for the small-group tour, about 15 people. Most cruises have. There is another way of cruising the Nile, which is the Felucca boat. It is traditional and charming but it is cheap as long as it will be ok to sleep on the deck exposed to mosquitos and most of these boats do not have a toilet

The best time to visit Egypt is generally from October to April where it is suitable for outdoor activities and sightseeing.

Egypt travel usually have guided tours to archaeological sites, museums, and historical landmarks. Also have optional activities may include hot air balloon rides over Luxor, snorkeling in the Red Sea, or desert safaris.
