Fly to Aswan, the southern city that is considered the origin of Chakra, Khnum well known as the chief god in Aswan, it is well known also as a god of creation Philae Temple was carefully moved to its current location (around 500 meters from the original site) when the construction of the High Dam caused surrounding Nile waters to rise. A short motorboat ride takes you to the island where your guide will take you on a walking tour through the temple before allowing you free time to explore further on your own. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, Philae Temple has a beautiful setting on an island in the river, which has been landscaped to match its original site. Its various shrines and sanctuaries celebrate the deities involved in the myth of Isis and Osiris. Then Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarries of Aswan where much of the red granite used for ancient temples and colossi came from. The Unfinished Obelisk still lies where it was carved when a crack was discovered as it was being hewn from the rock. Your qualified Egyptologist guide will explain how that obelisk was carved, and why the crack caused it to be abandoned. In the end, board your Nile cruise.

Set off from the Nile cruise and visit the famous attractions in both Kom Ombo and Edfu. The temple was dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed. The temple of Edfu is the most well-preserved among ancient temples. Your private guide will give you a detailed history of the temple and its reliefs,

You will also visit the temple of Kom Ombo. This is one of the unique temples of Egypt. The temple was dedicated to two Egyptian Deities: Horus with the falcon head and Sobek with the crocodile head. The temple has two entrances, one for each of the two gods. The temple is beautifully located on a high mound. This location gives the visitor the chance to enjoy the view of the Nile. It is believed that both temples are the center of Chakra.

Explore the East Bank of Luxor to see two of the most impressive temples in Upper Egypt - Karnak and Luxor. Start your day with a visit to the Temples of Karnak. Walk along the Avenue of Sphinx to enter the complex as your guide explains how the massive facade was constructed. On entering the Temples of Karnak you will see each legacy left by the various pharaohs as the complex grew even larger. The deeper you go into the complex, the further back in time you will travel, with the oldest ruins dating back over 3,000 years. Upon walking through the Great Court into the Great Hypostyle Hall, it is hard not to be overwhelmed by the 134 columns towering above you like an ancient forest. Have the chance to experience the magnificent energies of healing while walking through the seven doors of Sekhmet temple, At the rear of the complex, you will find the sacred lake where centuries ago pharaohs and their offerings to the gods were purified. After a tour of the complex, you will have additional free time to explore at leisure. Continue to Luxor temple which was once joined to the Temples of Karnak by a 2-kilometer-long Avenue of Sphinx, a portion of which marks the entrance to the temple. Dominated by statues of the great warrior pharaoh Ramses II, Luxor Temple has survived Nile floods, foreign invasion, and thousands of years exposed to the elements. A pure Egyptian temple, the inner walls, and columns are decorated with intricate hieroglyphics, which your guide will help you decipher. Find out how Alexander the Great wrote himself into Luxor Temple's history, and see one of the original pair of the obelisk, the second of which now stands on the Place de la Concorde in Paris.

Free day in Luxor to relax and you may use the hotel amenities.

Combine a morning in Dendara where you can visit the Temple of Hathor, before continuing for an afternoon of sightseeing in Abydos, home to " The Cult of Osiris” It is a place where most ancient Egyptians would have made a pilgrimage at least once in their lifetime. It is connected with the Heart Chakra,  The approach path to the Temple of Hathor is between two Roman fountains that end at the massive entry gate. Hathor was the goddess of pleasure and love and was generally shown as a cow, or woman with a cow's head. The enclosure walls are mud-brick and date to the Roman era. Within the walls are the temple, two birth houses, a Coptic Basilica, a sanitarium, a sacred lake, and the Temple of the Birth of Isis. The temple has a long history with evidence that Pepi I (Old Kingdom) rebuilt the temple, while other texts refer to reconditioning by Thutmose III, Amenhotep III, and Rameses II and III (New Kingdom). Additions were made during the Greek, Roman, and Ptolemy periods. Abydos in Middle Egypt is an ancient holy place and burial ground of the rulers of the late prehistoric proto-kingdom, as well as the first attested kings of the politically unified Egyptian state. Buildings constituting the settlement area in northern Abydos dating back to Predynastic times have been found around Kom es-Sultan, while recent excavators have found an Old Kingdom residential area to the south-east which contains a street of mudbrick houses with courtyards and a faience workshop with its kilns. Abydos is home to " The Cult of Osiris" the god of the dead. It is said the head of Osiris was buried at the site after he was murdered by his brother.

Your Egypt Tours Reviews

Travel has helped us to understand the meaning of life and it has helped us become better people. Each time we travel, we see the world with new eyes.

Absolutely mind blowing. A definite must see. We flew from Aswan after I contact them, as I did not want to sit in car for hours with my 10-year-old daughter. Just so much history and ancient love. You cannot miss this one thing if you are in Cairo. The rocks are just HUGE, so special.
