Tour Itinerary

In the morning, travel from Cairo to Alexandria. You will visit the Roman theater of Kom el-Dikka, as well as the Montazah Summer Palace. In the evening, opt to head to one of the city’s seafood restaurants. Explore Alexandria with an expert guide. Its vast history, unique Mediterranean location, and distinctly European feel set it apart from other Egyptian cities. Visit the sights of Kom el-Dikka, the only Roman theater of its kind in Egypt, and the Month Summer Palace, known for its peaceful gardens. Opt to wander the seaside corniche or stop to enjoy a coffee at one of the many European-style cafés. In the evening, opt to head to the bar at the famous Cecil Hotel for a sunset drink.

Enjoy a full day of sightseeing, and exploring this beautiful city. Wander the fort and citadel of Qaitbay, also learn the history behind Pompey’s Pillar and who is buried in the underground catacombs. Travel back to Cairo in the late afternoon where the tour ends on arrival. Set out with your guide to visit the fort and citadel of Qaitbay. The citadel was built on the spot of the Lighthouse of Alexandria. Visit Pompey’s Pillar and the catacombs of Kom ash-Shuqqafa, built for a single wealthy family. In addition, you will visit the new Alexandria Library. Note: The library of Alexandria is closed on Fridays and Saturdays In the late afternoon, travel back to Cairo where the tour ends on arrival. While Opt to end at the airport for onward travel or at a hotel in the city (overnight not included).

Prices Prices

Price quotes are in US dollars per person per trip and are valid until April 30th, 2025. Please inquire for pricing over Christmas, New Year’s, and Easter holidays.

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired holiday. Space on a given tour will be secured upon receipt a deposit of 25% of the full price. This payment will be 50% during the Christmas and New Year holidays and on packages including airfare. This deposit counts as part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or sent via Western Union or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Payment should be received within 7 days of booking.

Children Policy

A child traveling with two accompanying adults will pay the following:

  • 0 years to 1.99 years of age: Free of charge.
  • 2 years to 4.99 years of age: 50% of the total rate.
  • 5 years to 11.99 years of age: 75% of the total rate ·
  • 12+ pay full tour price as per adult person.

Notes: Children policy is applied to children who share rooms with their parents (Maximum 1 Child sharing a parent's room). If 2 children, they will stay in another room connected or next to the parents' room.
