Later on, you will commence on a remarkable journey, taking in a peaceful sail along the River Nile in a Felucca, a "typical Egyptian sailing boat," while taking in the gorgeous sunset backdrop. You'll then be transported to your hotel to check in and spend some time there at your leisure. after an optional trip to view the Luxor Karnack Temple's spectacular light and sound show, you will return to your hotel to rest, awaiting tomorrow's exploration.
Breakfast is served in the morning at your Luxor hotel. After breakfast, you will be taken to view the two massive statues of Amenhotep III (the Colossi of Memnon) on the West Bank of the Nile River by your English-speaking private Egyptologist guide. You will next travel to the Valley of the Kings, the location of the magnificent tombs carved deep into the rock face of the desert. The tombs were beautifully ornamented and housed every expensive item that the pharaohs thought they might want in the afterlife.
We will also be able to visit three tombs and then next proceed to El Deer El Bahary to pay a visit to the beautiful Hatshepsut temple. As she rises from the desert plain in a series of terraces and merges in with the surrounding sheer limestone cliffs, this temple honors Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh.
We also provide lunch when we wrap up this incredible journey. At the end of the day, your guide will accompany you back to the cruise ship in Safaga Port; the time you depart from Safaga Port (220km) will depend on when your ship leaves Luxor.

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired holiday. Space on a given tour will be secured upon receipt a deposit of 25% of the full price. This payment will be 50% during the Christmas and New Year holidays and on packages including airfare. This deposit counts as part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or sent via Western Union or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Payment should be received within 7 days of booking.
