Tour Itinerary

Your adventure in Egypt begins as your expert Egyptologist guide meets you at Alexandria Port. You will travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned van on a scenic three-hour drive to Cairo, the historic home of the pharaohs.

Upon arrival in Giza, your guide will take you to the legendary Giza Pyramids of CheopsKhafre, and Menakaure. Marvel at these incredible architectural wonders and uncover the rich history behind them. You will also visit the Valley Temple of King Khafre, where ancient burial rituals were once performed.

For an additional cost, you may choose to enter one of the pyramids or enjoy a memorable camel ride across the plateau. Continue to the panoramic viewpoint for stunning photos before visiting the iconic Great Sphinx, one of Egypt’s most enduring symbols.

After your visit to Giza, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Sakkara, home to Egypt’s oldest pyramid. Explore the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, built during the 3rd Dynasty by the brilliant architect Imhotep around 2630 BC.

Later, visit the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the Middle East’s oldest markets. Enjoy free time to wander through its lively alleys, shop for souvenirs, or relax with a cup of traditional Egyptian tea at El Fishawy Café.

After breakfast at your hotel, proceed to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the world’s largest museum dedicated to a single civilization. The museum displays over 100,000 artifacts that tell the fascinating story of ancient Egypt, including the complete treasures of King Tutankhamun, shown together for the first time. With your expert Egyptologist guide, you will explore the museum’s highlights before enjoying free time to wander through the galleries at your own pace.

After your museum visit, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to your next stop, the Citadel of Salah El Din. Here, you will admire the impressive Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, designed by the Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq, who traveled from Istanbul to build this remarkable monument for Mohamed Ali, ruler of Egypt from 1805 to 1849.

The journey continues with a visit to the Papyrus Institute, where you will learn how traditional papyrus paper is made and have the chance to shop for unique souvenirs.

After that, you'll have time to shop for more souvenirs before returning to Alexandria Port and boarding your cruise ship. 

Prices Prices

Price quotes are in US dollars per person per trip and are valid until April 30th, 2027. Please inquire for pricing over Christmas, New Year’s, and Easter holidays.

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired holiday. Space on a given tour will be secured upon receipt a deposit of 25% of the full price. This payment will be 50% during the Christmas and New Year holidays and on packages including airfare. This deposit counts as part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or sent via Western Union or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Payment should be received within 7 days of booking.

 

Children Policy
  • Up to 2 years: FREE
  • Age from 2 and below 6 years: 25% of adult price
  • Age from 6 up to 11 years: 50% of adult price
  • Ages 12 and up: adult price.

Children policy is applied to children who share rooms with their parents (Maximum 1 Child sharing parent's room).
If your tour includes airfare, additional charges for your children may apply.
