Tour Itinerary

Your Egypt Tours will take you to enjoy a trip to the Temple of Kalabsha which has been dismantled and re-erected on a hill near the High-Dam site (Western Bank). This temple was originally built by Toutmosis II and Amenophis II at Kalabsha, 40 miles south of Aswan. It was restored during the Roman conquest.

Follow up with a visit to the Nubian Museum, featuring exhibits and artifacts from the surrounding sites such as the High Dam. The museum is a must for any visitor to Aswan. The architecture of the Museum and the enclosure walls are intended to evoke traditional Nubian village architecture, as it was along the Nubian Nile before the region was flooded by Lake Nasser.

Your qualified Egyptologist guide will show you some of the most important artifacts before allowing you free time to explore the museum at your leisure. The building is set within a landscape on graded levels, including a sequence of waterfalls. When the waterway reaches the lower part of the garden, it divides into 2 branches to surround an open-air stage and amphitheater where already many local and foreign groups have performed. The remaining 43,000 square meters have been planted with palm trees, flowers, and climbing plants, spread over natural rocks.

There are a lot of things to do in Aswan including Temples, Islands, Museums, and the cheerful Nubian Village. You shouldn't leave Aswan without visiting the High Dam, Abu Simbel Temple, Philae Temple, Sehil Island, and more attractions to explore on Aswan day tours.

You will need to spend 2-3 days in Aswan to see the main attractions. The first day is dedicated to visiting the Philae Temple, Abu Simbel Temple, or the High Dam, all of them are situated on the Nile River so you will enjoy all of them in our Egypt Nile Cruise tours. The second day is dedicated to exploring the Nubian museum and the Nubian Village. The Nubian people's history and culture are explored in the museum.

We recommend you go to Luxor because Luxor has a lot of important ancient Egyptian sites that need a lot of walking around and visiting its temples while Aswan is seen as a place of rest next to its temples.

Aswan offers a wide variety of attractions for visitors to discover and is an ideal base for a one-day tour of the city of Abu Simbel.

The architecture of the High Dam is not only visually attractive nor is it of historical interest. It is hardly a must-see tourist attraction in Aswan.

Travel has helped us to understand the meaning of life and it has helped us become better people. Each time we travel, we see the world with new eyes.

Absolutely mind blowing. A definite must see. We flew from Aswan after I contact them, as I did not want to sit in car for hours with my 10-year-old daughter. Just so much history and ancient love. You cannot miss this one thing if you are in Cairo. The rocks are just HUGE, so special.

Our trip to was wonderful. The accommodations and travel was seamlessly arranged by customer service rep, Mona, and we visited so many of the famous Egyptian antiquities. I would not have done the trip without the very knowledgeable guides, Ashraf and Mamdouh
