Tour Itinerary

Arrive in Cairo, meet and assist at the international airport of the sprawling city of the pharaohs. Check in to your hotel amid lush gardens overlooking the Great Pyramids.

This afternoon, visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, where the treasures of Tutankhamun and artifacts dating back to 4000 BC reveal Egypt's artistic and architectural heritage. View the Mummy Room, housing the remains of many kings and queens of Ancient Egypt, including Ramses II, Egypt's longest-ruling pharaoh.

Overnight: in Cario | Meals: Breakfast

Tour the Giza Plateau, the site of the Pyramids of Menkaure, Khafre, and the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the only survivor of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Continue to the Great Sphinx, guardian of the royal tombs from the Fourth Millennium BC.

Overnight: in Cairo | Meals: Breakfast

Embark on your Egypt Nile Cruise and journey to the magnificent Temple of Karnak. Walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall. Its massive, expertly aligned columns are a sight to behold. After lunch, tour the Valley of the Kings, where over 60 magnificent tombs from the pharaohs of the New Kingdom are carved into the desert rock. Explore the Temple of Hatshepsut, ancient Egypt's first female pharaoh. You may also visit the Valley of the Queens (Biban el-Harim).

Overnight: onboard Nile Cruise | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Cruise northward on a scenic route far from the crowds and other ships to the Temple of Hathor at Dendera, among the best-preserved temples in Egypt. View the hypostyle hall, its roof featuring small shrines to Isis and Hathor nearly intact. Explore the interior chambers and underground crypt among foundations dating from the time of Cheops. This afternoon, tour Luxor Temple, completed during the reign of Ramses II.

Overnight: onboard Nile Cruise | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Continue cruising to Edfu to the Temple of Horus in Aswan day tours, the falcon-headed god. Built in 230 BC by Ptolemy III, this stunningly preserved structure reveals what temple worship in Ancient Egypt was like. Disembark at Kom Ombo (“ the hill of gold”) to visit the Greco-Roman temple dedicated to Haroeris (the sun god) and Sobek (the crocodile god). Crocodiles were once based on this stretch of Nile shore; several of their mummies are now on display.

This morning, cruise to Aswan and board a motorized boat for a short ride to Philae Temple on the island of Agilika, painstakingly relocated and reconstructed to avoid flooding when Aswan's High Dam was built. Continue sightseeing at the famous granite quarries, the site of the enormous Unfinished Obelisk a monolith illustrating the extraordinary skills of Egypt's stonemasons. End the day sailing around the Aswan islands in a felucca, a small sailboat (weather permitting).

Overnight: onboard Nile Cruise | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Leave your cruise and fly to Abu Simbel, the site of the commanding temples of Ramses II and his wife, Nefertari. Four enormous statues of the pharaoh dominate the former’s façade. Afterward, return to Cairo for a leisurely afternoon.

Overnight: in Cairo | Meals: Breakfast

After a relaxing morning, explore the Mosque and Madrasa of Sultan Hassan. Built-in AD 1356, it is one of the largest in the Islamic world and among the finest examples of early Mamluk architecture. From here, walk from Bab el-Fotouh to Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, where stalls display spices, leather goods, and jewelry. The street running from the imposing, fortified Fotouh Gate to the Zuweila Gate has hardly changed in centuries. Bargaining is expected, so prepare to negotiate. Gather for a farewell dinner this evening.

Overnight: in Cairo | Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure.

How can we help?

Find out our latest news, promotions, and professional tips. Know before you book your next Egypt tours

Seven days, To Enjoy an unforgettable Luxury trip and you may want to consider hiring a private tour guide or Your Egypt Tours can help you plan and organize your Egypt tour itinerary. We can help you choose the best luxury hotels and activities based on your interest.

Typically, a luxury tour to Egypt includes stops at the famous Giza Pyramids, the historic Luxor and Karnak Temples, and a Nile River cruise to enjoy a luxury time in Egypt.

You can book a luxury tour of Egypt through our reputable company website "Your Egypt Tours" Or You Can tailormade your package through our tailormade Egypt Tours form

When discussing luxury travel on the Nile River, there are two types: the ordinary Luxury Nile ship and the most luxurious option, the dahabiya Nile Cruise.

Our Recommendation for a Luxury Nile Cruise:

Our Recommendation for a Luxurious Dahabiya small ship

Opting for a four-night voyage guarantees ample moments to marvel at the Nile's eminent attractions like the renowned Karnak and Abu Simbel temples. Yet, if you prefer a more unhurried pace, embark on a seven-night expedition, uncovering a plethora of lesser-known gems such as Dra Abu Nag and the awe-inspiring Medinet Habu.

Yes, indeed! Visitors have the opportunity to venture into the inner chamber of the great pyramids of Giza. However, it's essential to note that each pyramid requires the purchase of a separate ticket for entry. So, if you're eager to explore these ancient marvels up close, be sure to plan accordingly and acquire the necessary tickets beforehand.

Indeed, a tourist visa is imperative for U.S. passport holders, and we at Your Egypt Tours recommend acquiring an electronic visa (eVisa) for seamless travel arrangements. For your eVisa, you can visit this website and apply online at: visa2egypt.gov.eg/eVisa/Home.

In Egypt, you can take pictures in most places you will visit, except for the burial chambers of the pyramids, inside the Egyptian Museum (but you can take pictures outside of Museum which has many monuments and statues), the Valley of the Kings, as well as police and military check points.

Here is a list of basic Egyptian Arabic phases. My recommendation would be to learn the ones I highlighted for you:

What They Say about Us

Our Happy Customers

Travel has helped us to understand the meaning of life and it has helped us become better people. Each time we travel, we see the world with new eyes.

Absolutely mind blowing. A definite must see. We flew from Aswan after I contact them, as I did not want to sit in car for hours with my 10-year-old daughter. Just so much history and ancient love. You cannot miss this one thing if you are in Cairo. The rocks are just HUGE, so special.
