Embark on a luxurious journey with your knowledgeable Egyptologist guide to the world-famous Pyramids at Giza , a majestic and awe-inspiring sight that has captivated visitors for thousands of years. These perfectly symmetrical structures were built some 4,500 years ago as gateways to the afterlife for Egypt's ruling elite and are guarded by the enigmatic Sphinx.

Marvel at the sheer size and beauty of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest of the three structures, standing at a staggering 481 feet and the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will have the opportunity to enter the Great Pyramid chamber, an experience that will leave you breathless.

In the afternoon, explore the magnificent Egyptian Museum, home to the largest collection of Egyptian artifacts in the world. Be mesmerized by the glistening gold mask of Tutankhamun, the boy-king who died at the tender age of 19, and admire the many treasures recovered from his tomb.

After indulging in a sumptuous breakfast, Our YET team will transfer you to Cairo International Airport to take a flight to Luxor, the ancient city once known as Thebes. A cultural and spiritual center of Egypt during the Middle and New Kingdoms, Luxor was dedicated to Amun, one of the most important gods in the Egyptian pantheon.

As you arrive in Luxor, your first stop will be the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple complex, a magnificent array of temples, obelisks, and gateways that were once a place of worship for Amun and other deities.

After your visit, you will have the rest of the day to explore the fascinating city of Luxor at your leisure.

This evening, you will visit Luxor Temple for the sound & light show, a majestic complex of towering columns and larger-than-life statues that is especially stunning after dark when illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere that will leave you breathless.

Today, you will embark on a truly unforgettable tour of Luxor's West Bank. Next, you will explore the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut, one of Egypt's earliest and most successful female pharaohs.

Finally, you will visit the Colossi of Memnon, two towering stone statues of Amenhotep III that have stood guard over the pharaoh's necropolis since 1350 B.C.

When discussing luxury travel on the Nile River, there are two types: the ordinary Luxury Nile ship and the most luxurious option, the dahabiya Nile Cruise.

Our Recommendation for a Luxury Nile Cruise:

Our Recommendation for a Luxurious Dahabiya small ship

Opting for a four-night voyage guarantees ample moments to marvel at the Nile's eminent attractions like the renowned Karnak and Abu Simbel temples. Yet, if you prefer a more unhurried pace, embark on a seven-night expedition, uncovering a plethora of lesser-known gems such as Dra Abu Nag and the awe-inspiring Medinet Habu.

Yes, indeed! Visitors have the opportunity to venture into the inner chamber of the great pyramids of Giza. However, it's essential to note that each pyramid requires the purchase of a separate ticket for entry. So, if you're eager to explore these ancient marvels up close, be sure to plan accordingly and acquire the necessary tickets beforehand.

Indeed, a tourist visa is imperative for U.S. passport holders, and we at Your Egypt Tours recommend acquiring an electronic visa (eVisa) for seamless travel arrangements. For your eVisa, you can visit this website and apply online at:

In Egypt, you can take pictures in most places you will visit, except for the burial chambers of the pyramids, inside the Egyptian Museum (but you can take pictures outside of Museum which has many monuments and statues), the Valley of the Kings, as well as police and military check points.

Here is a list of basic Egyptian Arabic phases. My recommendation would be to learn the ones I highlighted for you:

Absolutely mind blowing. A definite must see. We flew from Aswan after I contact them, as I did not want to sit in car for hours with my 10-year-old daughter. Just so much history and ancient love. You cannot miss this one thing if you are in Cairo. The rocks are just HUGE, so special.
