Tour Itinerary

Delight in a private, tailor-made tour of Alexandria, starting from your hotel or the port. Accompanied by an Egyptologist guide, you’ll uncover the treasures of Egypt's second-largest city, known for its blend of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influence. Famous for its Roman relics, Alexandria offers a unique ambiance. With the exclusivity of a private tour, you have full control over how much time you spend at each stop, ensuring a personalized experience.

Founded in 312 B.C. by the legendary Alexander the Great, Alexandria served as the capital of Greco-Roman Egypt. Begin your exploration with a visit to the renowned Catacombs of Kom El-Shokafa, an ancient Roman necropolis where Egyptian and Roman artistic elements beautifully intertwine. Delve into the subterranean tombs and the enigmatic Hall of Caracalla, a hidden gem beneath the earth’s surface.

Once back above ground, marvel at the modern architectural brilliance of the Alexandria Library. This Norwegian-designed structure is a sharp contrast to the ancient marvels scattered across Egypt. As one of the world's premier literary archives, the library houses a copy of every published book and features various exhibitions on Egypt's history, alongside a collection of rare, antique manuscripts (entry for an additional fee).

Your journey continues to the majestic Qaitbay Fortress, strategically perched on the exact location where the Great Lighthouse of Alexandria once stood, a beacon of ancient engineering. After soaking in the historical significance and awe-inspiring vistas, you’ll be whisked back to your Alexandria hotel, concluding a day brimming with exploration and discovery.
