We headed out early in the morning for the magnificent Temple of Edfu. This historically significant masterwork dedicated to the falcon deity Horus has some of the best-preserved ancient treasures. We approach closer to the enigmatic Temple of Edfu as the sun rises. It is a fascinating item from another age with a relic glorifying the falcon deity Horus that gives a rare glimpse into the past.
We'll head to the famed Kom Ombo after a fantastic meal. Here, you'll find the twin temples dedicated to Horus, the Elder (also known as the Falcon God Haroeis), and the Crocodile deity Sobek, the cosmic creator and fertility deity. Enjoy the flavors of a day filled with delicious cuisine, intriguing historical sites, and a delicious dinner.
