  1. We just completed a tour to Cairo. We went to Alexandria as well with our excellent guide Mamdouh. I do not usually write reviews but felt this was one of those times it was required. We were picked up from our hotel at exactly the time that was agreed. Mamdouh was great as he gave us really useful and insightful information about the history of Egypt in generally and more specifically Cairo and Alexandria. The sites we visited were really interesting:Giza pyramids, themuseum, the catacombs and the libraty of Alexandria. He recommended an excellent fish restaurant where we picked our fresh fish that was cooked on the spot. Best seafood I have had in ages and is was at a great price (probably because of Mamdouh’s local connections). All and all-great tour and would fully recommend this to anyone.

P.s I am glad we decided to do a guided tour because there is no way I would like to negotiate the Cairo traffic driving myself.
