Your Egypt Tours Egyptologist guide will pick you up from Alexandria Port by the cruise ship exit door. On this tour, you will enjoy a shore excursion from Alexandria to Cairo, approximately 3 hours on an air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, which dates back to the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. You may also enter the chambers of a pyramid and visit the Solar Boat Museum (for an additional cost; please see below under “exclusions”). Following this, you will go on a camel ride around the pyramids area for about 30 minutes. After this, you will drive to Sakkara. Upon arrival at Sakkara, you will visit the Step Pyramid, which is the first pyramid ever built! After this visit, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Sakkara. You will then head back to Alexandria Port on a private air-conditioned vehicle for drop-off
