After breakfast, you will enjoy an excursion to the Giza pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx with a lion's body, dating back to the time of Chephren. The Giza Plateau is about 30 minutes from Cairo where your Egyptologist guide will provide a fascinating introduction to the three pyramids: Cheops, Khafre and Menakaure. You will have free-time to enter the burial chambers of the pyramids (optional, for an additional cost); however, your guide is not allowed to enter with you to avoid overcrowding. You may also go on a camel ride around the pyramids area (optional, for an additional cost). After visiting the pyramids, you will continue across the plateau for a photo opportunity of the three pyramids rising from the sands with the Cairo skyline in the background. A short drive to the city side of the plateau finds you standing at the feet of the Sphinx, for thousands of years the enigmatic symbol of Egypt. Also in Giza, you may visit the Solar Boat Museum (optional, for an additional cost), home to the remarkably well-preserved funerary boat of King Khufu. Your final stop is Sakkara which is home to Egypt’s oldest pyramid. The Step Pyramid was built in 2650 B.C. After your guide provides a brief history of this famous pyramid, you will have free-time to explore on your own. In addition, you will have the chance to visit a Papyrus Institute to see how this famous artwork is made and have a chance to purchase genuine items if you wish. After the conclusion of your tour, you will drive back to your hotel for drop-off. Overnight in Cairo.

After breakfast, you will immerse yourself in Egypt's history with a visit to the famous Egyptian Museum. Follow this, you will stroll through Khan el-Khalili bazaar and visit Cairo’s most popular Islamic attractions: the Alabaster Mosque. Housing 250,000 Egyptian artifacts, the Egyptian Museum attracts millions of visitors a year. The highlight is the priceless treasures of King Tutankhamun. His 6-gold gilded coffins dominate the main hall while his magnificent gold mask is the star attraction. Your Egyptologist guide will introduce you to the most important pieces before allowing you to have free time to explore the museum at leisure. Here you may also visit the “Royal Mummies Room” where you will learn about the art of mummification in ancient Egypt (optional, for an additional cost). Your next stop will be the Alabaster Mosque at the Citadel of Salah el-Din which sits on top a limestone hill overlooking Cairo and is the most important mosque in the city. The lower part of the Mosque is clad inside and out with Alabaster while the top part is constructed from the limestone cladding removed from the Pyramids of Giza. Inside the mosque your guide will introduce you to the basics beliefs of Islam, including a translation of the most common prayers. Your final stop will be Khan el Khalili bazaar where your guide will give you an introduction to this famous market which is said to have inspired Christopher Columbus to discover the Americas. You will enjoy free-time to stroll through the maze of streets and shops and try your luck bargaining with the shop owners for a souvenir or two of your trip to Egypt or have tea at the famous coffee shop “El Fishawy.” After the conclusion of the tour, you will be driven to Cairon international airport to take your flight to Aswan. There you will be met and assisted by our representative who will take to your hotel to check in. Overnight in Aswan.
After breakfast , you will be met and assisted by your Egyptologist guide who will take you to embark your Nile cruise for the next 4 days, 3 nights. Later you will go to an exciting tour to the world famous High Dam that was an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s. Then you will take a motor-boat that will take you to the island of Egilka to visit the majestic Philae temple that was dedicated to the Goddesses Isis. Overnight on board the cruise.
Early morning you will go on a trip on a private air-conditioned vehicle to the impressive Temples of Ramses II in Abu Simbel. The complex is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the "Nubian Monuments," which run from Abu Simbel downriver to Philae (near Aswan). The twin temples were originally carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC, as a lasting monument to himself and his queen Nefertari, to commemorate his alleged victory at the Battle of Kadesh, and to intimidate his Nubian neighbors. However, the complex was relocated in its entirety in 1968, on an artificial hill made from a domed structure, high above the Aswan High Dam reservoir.
The relocation of the temples was necessary to avoid their being submerged during the creation of Lake Nasser, the massive artificial water reservoir formed after the building of the Aswan High Dam on the Nile River. Abu Simbel remains one of Egypt's top tourist attractions. With your qualified Egyptologist as your guide, you will enjoy a personalized visit to the temples of Abu Simbel. With its four rock-hewn pharaohs, your guide will explain the history behind this magnificent site, including how the temples were discovered by accident in 1813. Due to the large number of visitors to Abu Simbel, guides are not permitted inside either of the two temples you will visit.
Following your visit to Abu Simbel, you will return to Aswan then sailing to Kom Ombo. After breakfast on board the cruise, you will be escorted by your Egyptologist guide to visit the Kom Ombo temple, which is dedicated to the crocodile-headed God of fertility and creator of the world. Following this, you will have lunch on board your cruise with leisure time while sailing to Edfu to explore Edfu's Temple of Horus. The cruise will then continue the down to Luxor. After having afternoon tea served on the sundeck, you will have dinner. Overnight on board the cruise.
After breakfast on board the cruise, you will then proceed to the West Bank of the river Nile to visit the two colossal statues (Colossi of Memnon). Following this, you will visit the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs were discovered. Here you will have a chance to visit the tomb of King Tutankhamen (for an additional cost). Continue the tour to visit the Hatshepsut temple at El Deir El Bahary. This impressive temple is dedicated to the Queen Hatshepsut. Back to the cruise ship for lunch. Following afternoon tea on the cruise ship, you will have free time at leisure. Overnight stay on board.

After breakfast on board the cruise, you will be accompanied by your guide to visit the Karnak Temples, which is the largest place of worship ever built. Its ancient name “Ipet-isut” means “the most sacred of places.” The temple, or, more correctly, the complex of temples, was built over more than 2,000 years by generation after generation of pharaohs. Within the complex, you will find the great “Hypostyle Hall” which is an incredible forest of giant pillars .Then you will visit the Luxor temple which was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for rituals and festivals and is dedicated to the god Amen. Following this, you will be transferred to Luxor airport to take your flight to Sharm El Sheikh. There you will be met and assisted by our representative who will take to your hotel to check in. Overnight in Sharm El Sheikh.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will enjoy the sunrise over the desert on an unforgettable visit to the place where Moses received the 10 Commandments. You will travel on an air-conditioned with your guide who will accompany you up Moses' Mountain and take you on a tour of St. Catherine's Monastery. On this sunrise tour, you will watch the sunrise over the Sinai Mountains, and retrace the footsteps of Moses when he climbed Mt. Sinai to receive the 10 Commandments. Note that the descent is not too steep, but there are around 500 steps at the very summit. On your journey back down the mountain, you will stop at St. Catherine's Monastery which is the most important religious site in the Sinai Peninsula. Your tour guide will introduce you to the history and religious significance of the monastery and its surrounds. Situated at the base of the mountain where Moses received the Ten Commandments, St Catherine's Monastery is one of the most famous Monasteries in the world. Built between 527 and 565 AD, it is believed to be built around Moses' Burning Bush. The Monastery is named after St. Catherine who was tortured and beheaded for her Christian beliefs. During your tour you will visit the chapel Greek Orthodox Church, the icons of worship and the famous Mosaic of Transfiguration. Please note that St. Catherine's Monastery is approximately 230 kilometers from Sharm el Sheikh. Overnight in Sharm el Sheikh.
After having breakfast at your hotel, you will check out and then be driven to Sharm el Sheikh Airport to fly back to Cairo. Once in Cairo you will be met and assisted by our representative who will take you to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired holiday. Space on a given tour will be secured upon receipt a deposit of 25% of the full price. This payment will be 50% during the Christmas and New Year holidays and on packages including airfare. This deposit counts as part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or sent via Western Union or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Payment should be received within 7 days of booking.
