  1. Goodness where to even begin. I had previously written a review earlier about the booking process with Mona Hamdy. Mona made the process so smooth and easy – by far, she stood apart from the other tour groups I had also contacted. I appreciate all the work she put into developing our custom tour for six people, which took us from Cairo, to cruising down the Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, to,back to Cairo. From the beginning, she mentioned that Your Egypt Tours would strive to deliver the excellent service, and boy did they hit it out of the park.
Hotels were all top notch and as advertised. The 5 day,4-night Nile cruise was beyond my expectations. Each cabin was huge, bathroom was full size, and even the food was delicious! All transportation was in a new air-conditioned van.Never did we have to wait more than a few minutes to be picked up, and most of the time the driver was ready to go.
However, what really made our trip most special were our Egyptologist guides. In Cairo/Alexandria Mamdouh led us while in Upper Egypt Ashraf led us. Not only did these two have so much knowledge about the history and significance of each site we went to, they spoke with so much passion too! They also went beyond to provide amazing service that I think could be hard to come by. Both would offer suggestions on how to tweak our schedule last minute so that we might be more comfortable or our sightseeing might be more efficient. Ash treated us to some delicious falafel after a tiring morning at Abu Simbel and helped to locate our lost luggage after Egypt Air had a mishap, even though we had already parted ways with him. Mamdouh helped organize a surprise birthday party for my mother with a delicious cake as we sailed on the Nile. No one was pushy, and everything was centered on what we wanted to do.

I understand people still have safety concerns about Egypt, but I can say without a doubt there was not a single moment where I felt unsafe. We did everything – Coptic Cairo, multiple bazaars, the major tourist sites, the temples of Luxor and Aswa. Locals mentioned that recently in 2017, tourism is finally starting to pick back up. This makes me very happy to hear because I think Egypt is truly a special place and that everyone should get to experience it for himself or herself. You cannot fully grasp the magnitude and awe-inspiring scale of Ancient Egypt until you witness it yourself. So do yourself a favor, visit Egypt and book with Your Egypt Tours.

  2. We just got back from Egypt October 2017 and were treated like royalty by “Your Egypt Tours” company. We booked our tour for 8 days 7 nights. Those were some of the greatest days in our life.We NEVER felt unsafe ANYWHERE OR ANYTIME.We have travelled a lot but Your Egypt tours exceeded our expectations.
