6 Days From Esna To Aswan

Your journey through the wonders of Egypt begins the moment you step foot in Luxor. The dedicated Your Egypt Tours representative will guide you through the intricate tapestry of Egyptian history.
Following, Your Egyptologist tour guide will lead you on an immersive tour of Esna; the highlight of this visit is the small yet captivating Temple of Khnum. As you step out of the ancient temple, Esna beckons with its vibrant streets adorned with an array of textiles and exotic goods.
As the day's exploration comes to an end, the overnight is in Esna's tranquil air.

Overnight: Onboard The Nile Cruise | Meals: Lunch, Dinner.

As the Nile cradles you in its gentle embrace, the Dahabiya quietly sails to El Kab on the East bank of the Nile. This historic site, once the capital of Upper Egypt, houses the Nekhbet Temple's sacred precincts.

The journey extends beyond the historical to the heart of local life when we embark on walking through a small fishermen's village, adding a touch of authenticity to your day.

We continue heading to Edfu, the dwelling of the majesty of the Greco-Roman era. When you arrive, a horse and carriage will take you to the splendid Temple of Horus through the stirring city streets.

Following your return to Dahabiya, we will round to a beautiful island, a haven of tranquility.

Overnight: Onboard the Nile Cruise | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

A day dedicated to the rhythmic embrace of the river and the magical attraction of the desert develops in the center of your Nile Dahabiya voyage. Busk yourself in the Nile's peaceful currents, take an optional morning walk, and sail to an island paradise for a pleasant stroll or a refreshing dip. As nightfall falls, journey into the desert, where ancient hieroglyphs and stone-age engravings tell stories of yore. The night reveals a magnificent scene at the foot of Gebel Silsileh's floodlit temple, where we overnight.

Overnight: Onboard the Nile Cruise | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Gebel el Silsila is a hidden gem where the Nile flows between two majestic mountain ranges, creating a narrow passage of unparalleled beauty and welcoming you to a world of ancient temples. As the day goes on, you continue your exploration with a visit to the small but fascinating Temple of Horemheb, nestled along the banks of the Nile.

A short sail brings you to a picturesque riverside setting where a charming café awaits as you relax in the café and indulge in a traditional Egyptian experience with tea and shisha (waterpipe).

Continue your Dahabiya journey to a panoramic riverbank, where a delightful luncheon experience and the option of swimming await.

Overnight: Onboard the Nile Cruise | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

As the night embraces you on the tranquil waters beneath the stars, a new day dawns with a voyage to the town and temple of Kom Ombo, which was built during the Ptolemaic period and dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile-headed god, a deity revered in ancient Egyptian mythology, it stands proudly on the river's bend. The location, chosen for its beauty, adds to the temple's allure.

Your journey through Kom Ombo extends to the fascinating Crocodile Museum, a repository of ancient wonders that offer you a glimpse into the meticulous mummification practices of the ancient Egyptians.
