The city of Alexandria is known as the 2nd largest city in Egypt and the capital of the Greco-Roman rule. It was built in 312 B.C by the famous warrior Alexander the Great. Your adventure begins in the depths of the Kom El-Shokafa Catacombs, an old cemetery where Roman and Egyptian artists combined their artistic talents to create incredibly beautiful constructions. Once inside these graves, you'll find the famous Hall of Caracalla, an old relic buried beneath the surface of history.
As soon as we emerge above ground, we will be greeted by the Alexandria Library's breathtaking modern architecture. This beautiful Norwegian-designed work of art stands out against Egypt's ancient ruins. This library is one of the best in the world, with copies of every published book, Egyptian historical exhibitions, and an impressive collection of rare manuscripts (for an additional cost).
Your travel experience finally ends with the towering Qaitbay fortress, which is built upon the site of the previous great lighthouse of Alexandria. After such a fantastic day filled with numerous activities, expect a lot of thoughts in your mind as you will return back to your hotel in Luxor

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired holiday. Space on a given tour will be secured upon receipt a deposit of 25% of the full price. This payment will be 50% during the Christmas and New Year holidays and on packages including airfare. This deposit counts as part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or sent via Western Union or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Payment should be received within 7 days of booking.
