After breakfast on board, it’s time to explore Luxor’s West Bank. First up: the Valley of the Kings, where legendary pharaohs lie in richly decorated tombs. Next, marvel at Queen Hatshepsut’s cliffside temple—an architectural masterpiece. And don’t forget to snap a pic with the mighty Colossi of Memnon before heading back for dinner.

Today’s all about epic temple tales. Start with Edfu Temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus—it’s one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. After lunch, continue sailing to Kom Ombo Temple, which is uniquely dedicated to two gods: Sobek (the crocodile god) and Horus the Elder.

Fuel up at breakfast, because Aswan has some serious sights to show off. You’ll visit the mighty Aswan High Dam, then stand in awe before the enormous Unfinished Obelisk—a glimpse into ancient engineering. Finally, explore the romantic Philae Temple, rescued from the rising Nile waters and dedicated to the goddess Isis.

After one last breakfast on the water, we’ll escort you to the Aswan train station for your first-class ride back to Luxor, and then drive you back to El Gouna—full of stories, memories, and more than a few camera rolls to sort through.

The weather is pretty good from July to September, with an average high of 85°F in the morning. October to December are great months, with a maximum temperature of 74°F in December and about 0.2 inches of rain per month.
Directly opposite the hotel is the lagoon beach, which is equipped with a variety of amenities such as sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as windbreaks. This beach provides a convenient place to swim in the lagoon's seawater in a tranquil environment.
In El Gouna, the maximum fare for a tuk-tuk ride is now set at EGP25 per maximum of three passengers. One-hour tours are now priced at EGP150, while one-hour tours are priced at EGP75.
El Gouna is located in the northern part of the Red Sea governorate of Egypt. It is a little more than 32 km north of the capital Hurghada, and it will take approximately 30 min to drive from the Hurghada airport to the town.
