The temple, or perhaps more precisely, the complex of temples, was built by several pharaohs in Egypt more than 2,000 years ago. The majestic "Hypostyle Hall" is a captivating forest of massive pillars inside the building.
Your tour guide will take you to the majestic Luxor temple, built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, for rituals and feasts honoring the deity Amon, followed by a relaxing lunch and a visit to the restaurant at the Mercure Hotel. Later, you will start on an exceptional journey, taking in a peaceful sail along the River Nile in a Felucca, a "typical Egyptian sailing boat," while taking in the picturesque sunset backdrop. Your memories of this encounter will undoubtedly be unforgettable. You'll then be transported to your hotel to check in and spend some time there at your leisure. After an optional excursion to witness the spectacular light and music show at Luxor's Karnack Temple, we will return to your hotel and unwind.
After enjoying breakfast at your Luxor hotel, your personal Egyptologist guide will take you to see the two enormous statues of Amenhotep III (the Colossi of Memnon) on the West Bank of the Nile River. Next, you will visit the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs, designed deep into the desert rock, were found. The tombs were lavishly decorated and contained all the treasures the pharaohs believed they ought to have for their afterlife.
After that, you'll see three tombs and a visit to the magnificent Hatshepsut Temple in El Deir El Bahary. It was built in tribute to Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh of ancient Egypt.
The temple is surrounded by steep limestone cliffs that rise out of the desert plain in a succession of terraces.
Lunch is included in this exceptional experience. Ultimately, your guide will accompany you back to the cruise ship in Safaga Port; the time of your ship's departure from Luxor will determine the time of your departure from Safaga Port (220km).

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired holiday. Space on a given tour will be secured upon receipt a deposit of 25% of the full price. This payment will be 50% during the Christmas and New Year holidays and on packages including airfare. This deposit counts as part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or sent via Western Union or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Payment should be received within 7 days of booking.
