Tour Itinerary

Your adventure in Egypt begins when your expert Egyptologist guide meets you at Alexandria Port. You will get into a comfortable air-conditioned van for a three-hour ride from Alexandria to Cairo, the pharaohs' home.

When you arrive in Giza, your guide will lead you to the magnificent Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Khafre, and Menakaure. You'll be astounded by the architectural marvels and rich history surrounding these ancient monuments. The adventure does not end there; you will also visit the Valley Temple of the Pyramids of Chephren, which offers a rare opportunity to observe the impressive burial rituals the pharaohs performed.

For an extra fee, you can tour the inside of one of the pyramids or take a camel ride for an unforgettable experience that takes you back in time. Afterward, you'll traverse the plateau to catch the outstanding view of the pyramids rising from the dunes. A short drive away, you will see the well-known Sphinx, Egypt's iconic symbol for thousands of years.

After your awe-inspiring journey to Giza, you'll have a great lunch at a local restaurant before driving to the Sakkara necropolis, which houses Egypt's oldest pyramid. There, you can immerse yourself in the 3rd dynasty's rich history and the creativity of architect Imhotep, who constructed the Step Pyramid for King Djoser in approximately 2630 BC.

The Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the Middle East's oldest and most famous markets, is a must-see on any trip to Egypt. You'll have plenty of free time to explore the maze of shops, streets, and booths, where you may bargain for gifts or have a cup of traditional Egyptian tea at the well-known coffee shop "El Fishawy."

 Overnight in Cairo.

 Optional nighttime activities:

Option 1: Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids ($65 US Dollars per person).

Option 2: Nile Dinner Cruise on a 4-star cruise ($65 USD per person) or a 5-star cruise ($95 USD per person).

Rise and shine, adventurer! Today, after breakfast at your hotel, you will go to the internationally recognized Egyptian Museum. The Museum houses a rare 5,000-year-old collection of Egyptian art, which is regarded as the world's most significant and most valuable. More than 250,000 artifacts are displayed, including an exhibit focused on King Tutankhamun's tomb wealth. His five gold-gilded coffins dominate the main hall, but his stunning gold mask draws the most attention! Your Egyptologist guide will walk you through the most critical pieces before giving you free time to explore the Museum at your leisure.

After you tour the Museum, you'll have lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to our next destination, the Citadel of Salah El Din. You'll see the spectacular Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, which was designed by Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq, who traveled all the way from Istanbul to build this spectacular monument for Mohamed Ali, Egypt's monarch from 1805 to 1849.

But the excitement does not end there! You'll stop at the Papyrus Institute to see how papyrus paper is manufactured and look for souvenirs.

After that, you'll have time to shop for more souvenirs before returning to Alexandria Port and boarding your cruise ship.
