Morning: Departure from El Gouna to Cairo Start your day with a transfer from your hotel in El Gouna to Hurghada Airport. From there, you’ll catch a short flight to Cairo, where your Egyptologist guide will be waiting to show you around.

The weather is pretty good from July to September, with an average high of 85°F in the morning. October to December are great months, with a maximum temperature of 74°F in December and about 0.2 inches of rain per month.

In El Gouna, the maximum fare for a tuk-tuk ride is now set at EGP25 per maximum of three passengers. One-hour tours are now priced at EGP150, while one-hour tours are priced at EGP75.
El Gouna is located in the northern part of the Red Sea governorate of Egypt. It is a little more than 32 km north of the capital Hurghada, and it will take approximately 30 min to drive from the Hurghada airport to the town.
