Abydos is home to " The Cult of Osiris" the god of the dead. It is said the head of Osiris was buried at the site after he was murdered by his brother. At the end of the tour, you will stay the night at a hotel in Suhag.
After breakfast, we will drive to Dendera city where you can visit the Temple of Hathor, The approach path to the Temple of Hathor is between two Roman fountains that end at the massive entry gate. Within the walls are the temple, two birth houses, a Coptic Basilica, a sanitarium, a sacred lake, and the Temple of the Birth of Isis. The temple has a long history with evidence that Pepi I (Old Kingdom) rebuilt the temple, while other texts refer to reconditioning by Thutmose III, Amenhotep III, and Rameses II and III (New Kingdom). Additions were made during the Greek, Roman, and Ptolemy periods. The carvings on the ceiling of Hathor temple according to many scholars represents the cosmos. The deeper you go into the complex, the further back in time you will travel, with the oldest ruins dating back over 3,000 years. You will walk through the Great Court into the Great Hypostyle Hall; it is hard not to be overwhelmed by the 134 columns towering above you like an ancient forest. Then Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarries of Aswan where much of the red granite used for ancient temples and colossi came from. The Unfinished Obelisk still lies where it was carved when a crack was discovered as it was being hewn from the rock. Your qualified Egyptologist guide will explain how that obelisk was carved, and why the crack caused it to be abandoned.
Check out the cruise and drive to Abu Simbel. The name refers to two massive rock temples (the Great Temple of Ramses II and the smaller Temple of Hathor) in Abu Simbel in Nubia, southern Egypt on the western bank of Lake Nasser about 230 km southwest of Aswan. The complex is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the " Nubian Monuments," which runs from Abu Simbel downriver to Philae (near Aswan). The twin temples were originally carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC, as a lasting monument to himself and his queen Nefertari, to commemorate his alleged victory at the Battle of Kadesh, and to intimidate his Nubian neighbors. However, the complex was relocated in its entirety in 1968, on an artificial hill made from a domed structure, high above the Aswan High Dam reservoir. The relocation of the temples was necessary to avoid their being submerged during the creation of Lake Nasser, the massive artificial water reservoir formed after the building of the Aswan High Dam on the Nile River. Abu Simbel remains one of Egypt's top tourist attractions. Overnight in Aswan.

After seeing the highlights and the masterpieces, you will be dropped off back at the hotel.
Drive to Alexandria (a 3-hour drive) and enjoy the beautiful coastal city. The second-largest city in Egypt, Alexandria has an atmosphere that is more Mediterranean than Middle Eastern and is famous for its Roman remains. Alexandria was founded by Alexander the Great in 312 B.C. and was the capital of Greco-Roman Egypt. Your first stop in this historic city is the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, which is a Roman burial site that reveals the merging of Egyptian and Roman art and architecture. Descend below ground to visit the tomb and Caracalla Hall. Back above ground, continue to Pompey's Pillar, an 82-foot (25-meter) granite column built to honor Emperor Diocletian who freed the besieged city and brought food to its starving people. After lunch, you will visit the famous Alexandria Library. In contrast to the ancient architecture found throughout Egypt, this Norwegian-designed building is a striking piece of modern design. A copy of every book published in the world is kept in the library, making it one of the great literary sites in the world. The library also houses several exhibitions relating to the history of Egypt and a display of rare antique books (for an additional cost). After the conclusion of your tour, you will return to Cairo.

The high season for tourism is all year with winter and spring being peak season for cultural travels with lots of sightseeing. Egypt is a Muslim country and the dress code is towards the conservative side, especially for women. That being said, we are used to seeing travelers from all over the world. My suggestion would be to wear light clothes and not to wear short shorts, short skirts and alike to avoid the occasional unwanted stare. But it's really up to you. When you visit religious places (synagogues, churches, and mosques) you do need to cover your shoulders and wear over the knee dresses, if you are planning to wear one of course. If you plan to attend the Nile dinner cruise, there is no need for formal wear unless you want to make that night a special night! Also, you will be sharing this experience with other travelers so you can dress however you feel most comfortable.

There are many Nile cruises. Not to name one but your choice depends on many things to put in mind such as the number of nights you want to spend on the cruiser, your budget, and the standard of the Nile cruise. We recommend you choose a 5-star luxury Nile cruise, and if you are looking for a private Nile River cruise you can choose Dahabiya cruises, it is only for the small-group tour, about 15 people. Most cruises have. There is another way of cruising the Nile, which is the Felucca boat. It is traditional and charming but it is cheap as long as it will be ok to sleep on the deck exposed to mosquitos and most of these boats do not have a toilet
