For today's tour, our representative will greet you at the cruise ship exit door; we will visit the famed Karnak Temple, one of history's most significant places of devotion. You will be accompanied by your personal Egyptologist guide, whose expertise promises a genuinely fascinating encounter!

After a leisurely lunch and a visit to the Mercure Hotel's restaurant, you will be taken to view the two giant statues of Amenhotep III, commonly known as the Colossi of Memnon, on the West Bank of the Nile River by your personal Egyptologist guide, who speaks English. You will next proceed to the Valley of the Kings, where you will find the magnificent tombs carved deep into the rock face of the desert. The ornately decorated tombs of the pharaohs contained every precious item they thought they might want in the afterlife.
In addition, we'll visit three tombs before heading to El Deer El Bahary to witness the breathtaking Hatshepsut Temple. This temple honors Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt's only female pharaoh, who rises from the desert plain in a series of terraces and fits into the surrounding sheer limestone cliffs.
Lunch will be provided on this fantastic voyage. When the day ends, your guide will take you back to the cruise ship in Safaga Port; the exact time your ship departs Luxor will determine when you leave Safaga Port (220km).

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired holiday. Space on a given tour will be secured upon receipt a deposit of 25% of the full price. This payment will be 50% during the Christmas and New Year holidays and on packages including airfare. This deposit counts as part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or sent via Western Union or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Payment should be received within 7 days of booking.
